ABOUT US

 

1) Presentation

The Association for Research and Promotion of Hypoventilation Training (ARPEH) is a non profit organization (Law 1901) created in 2009.

ARPEH gathers researchers, teachers-researchers, doctors and people involved in the world of sport (athletes, trainers, managers, physical trainers etc...).

 

2) Objectives

ARPEH pursues two main objectives:

a) Improving scientific knowledge and understanding of hypoventilation training

ARPEH takes part in the elaboration and the implementation of research protocols as well as in the writting of scientific articles intended to be published in international journals.

b) Promoting hypoventilation training

ARPEH spreads and presents the scientific knowledge to all organizations or people concerned by hypoventilation training: sporting federations and organizations, athletes, trainers, researchers, doctors, students in Sport Sciences etc...

The spreading of this scientific knowledge can be done through books, non scientific articles published in specialized sporting journals, national or international congresses and conferences organized by ARPEH or other organizations.

ARPEH intervenes directly with athletes, sporting federations or organizations to help apply hypoventilation training.

This assistance can be provided through individual coaching, collective coaching or E-coaching (electronic coaching or coaching online).

3) Resources

ARPEH resources are:

- Incomes from the events it organizes

- Incomes from sale of products and services

- Partnerships with firms and companies

- Subsidies and donations
